Spring is in Full Swing!

Spring is in full swing here at the farm, and I’ve been planting up a storm.

The tulips had their moment (and what a moment it was), and now they’re just about finished for the season. Right behind them, our spring blooms are stepping in—peonies, snapdragons, campanula, and ranunculus are finally starting to show off.

Meanwhile, summer flowers are going in fast. I’ve been adding lots of new rows of dahlias this year, along with lisianthus, and learning my way through the new paperpot system—which has definitely been a learning curve. Zinnias are next, along with strawflowers, feverfew, sunflowers, and cosmos.

The peonies are now in their second season and already putting on a much bigger show than last year, which is exciting to see. I also planted a new bed of eucalyptus this year to try out something a little different.

And on the farm… we have a new addition 🐇
Meet Puddin, our newest bunny, who’s settling into her new home.

Livvy the flower truck has officially entered her glow-up era. Phase two is complete—she now has her new color and logos and was such a hit at recent events. One more phase to go, and she’ll be fully finished with a canvas canopy, curtains, and a striped valance to dress her up for events.

This is a big one—bringing together growers and plant lovers from all over the Southeast and beyond, along with plants and all kinds of plant-centered products.

We’ll be there all day with Livvy, and you’ll be able to:
• Create your own bouquet at the flower bar
• Grab a bouquet to go
• Shop our Cut & Come Again flower garden kits
• Pick up gift certificates—perfect for Mother’s Day

I’ll also be hosting a pressed flower class that day, and you can sign up on the website if you’d like to join us.
